In the picturesque Agrigento area of Realmonte, between the famous Scala dei Turchi and the stunning Torre Salsa Nature Reserve, the ancient olive groves of “Terre del Barone Agnello” are cultivated. Protected by the historic Norman Tower of Monterosso and caressed by the winds of the Mediterranean Sea, these unique olive groves are situated within the "Feudo Monterosso," an ancient estate associated with the Barone Agnello since 1797, named after the majestic Norman Tower. Even today, a direct descendant of the Barone Agnello lovingly and passionately maintains the estate within the feudo, continuing the millennia-old tradition of cultivating the century-old olive trees. The harvest of the finest olives takes place in September and October, followed by cold pressing, carried out between 4 and 8 hours after the harvest.

The unique characteristics of these calcareous and clayey soils, facing south, combined with the Mediterranean sea breezes and the local climate, create an ideal environment for the century-old trees. The family tradition, passed down with passion, along with the love for olive cultivation, make "Terre del Barone Agnello" oil a true treasure.
